STRONG CURRENT


Strong current means that the current can pull you away from shore and you could drown.

Many beaches on Maui have strong currents. Examples of beaches on Maui where the Strong Current sign is common is Kanaha Beach Park, Baldwin Beach Park, Ho’okipa Beach Park, Kamaloe 1, Kamaloe 2, Kamaloe 3, Hanakao’o Beach Park, Hanakao’o Beach Park, and DT Fleming Beach Park.
